Take the quiz that shows you which MEPs are most aligned to your policy preferences! In this innovative project led by the EUI (Florence), EUmatrix has provided MEPs' voting records on 20 key topics from across the policy spectrum that were voted in the current EP term. 

The citizens can vote on each of these 20 topics and at the end see which MEPs, parties and political groups come closest to their views. 

Note: since the quiz is based on the actual votes cast by the MEPs when decisions were made (as opposed to their speeches, manifestos, promises, etc) it provides a much more accurate tool to understand EU policy making and reduce the accountability gap between citizens and their representatives in the Brussels and Strasbourg.

EuroMPmatch was developed by Doru Frantescu and Simon Hix, with the help of Lorenzo Cicchi and Stefano Brocchi. Doru is CEO of EUmatrix, and was a co-founder and CEO of VoteWatch.eu. Simon is the Stein Rokkan Chair in Comparative Politics at the European University Institute in Florence and was also a co-founder of VoteWatch.eu. Doru and Simon have been monitoring how MEPs vote for almost 20 years, and together developed similar Voter-Advice-Applications (VAAs) to EuroMPmatch ahead of the 2014 and 2019 European Parliament elections. Lorenzo coordinates the European Governance and Politics Programme, the research programme of the European University Institute hosting EUROHUB2024.
